Start here: you almost certainly already have a Sprocket account. Sprocket is white-labeled club software, so it shows up as your league's own website — your club's name, your club's colors — with Sprocket only visible in the footer or in the address you log in at. The account you registered your kid with is a Sprocket account, even if today is the first time you've read the word.
The good news is that Sprocket does this properly. It says outright that parents, players and coaches can reach a team schedule through the mobile app, the desktop site, or on their own calendar via the iCal or Google feed. A real subscribable link exists, which is more than several better-known team apps can claim.
The catch is that Sprocket's instructions live inside each club's logged-in help center rather than on the open web, and every club styles its own site. That's why searching gets you nowhere. Below is what's actually verifiable, written so it survives your club's site looking different from the next one's — and we'll flag where we're describing the shape of the feature rather than a button we can name.
Confirm your club site is a Sprocket site. Look at the footer of your league or club's website for a Sprocket Sports credit, or check the address bar when you log in — Sprocket clubs sit at addresses like yourclub.sprocketsports.com/dashboard. If either matches, the account you already use for registration and payments is a Sprocket account, whether or not you've ever heard the name.
Log in first — everything useful is gated. This is worth doing before you go hunting. Sprocket's help articles are published inside each club's own site and are only readable once you're signed in; logged out, the help center shows nothing but a notice telling you to log in. Half the reason parents give up on this is that they're searching the web for instructions that only exist behind their own login.
Open your team's schedule. From the dashboard, go to the team whose games you want, then its schedule or calendar view. Sprocket pulls club events, team practices, league games and camps into the same schedule system, so this is the page showing the actual list of events — not the club-wide calendar page on the public marketing side of the site.
Look for the calendar subscription option on that schedule. Sprocket's own help center files this under "Subscribe/View a Team Calendar," with a companion article on compatible calendar platforms. In practice you're looking for a calendar or subscribe control on the schedule itself, offering a Copy to Clipboard option and a shortcut for adding the calendar to Outlook. Copy to Clipboard is the one worth taking — it gives you the feed address rather than binding it to one app.
Try the mobile app if the web dashboard hides it. Sprocket says schedules are reachable through the mobile app, the desktop site, or your own calendar via the iCal or Google feed, and the subscribe control isn't always in the same place on both. If you can't spot it on the web, open the Sprocket Sports app, go to the same team's schedule, and look there — the option to add the feed to other calendars lives on both surfaces.
Paste the copied link into Schedule Caddie. Once you have the URL, you're past the hard part. Sprocket clubs are white-labeled, so the button you tapped may sit somewhere slightly different from another parent's club — but the link it produces is an ordinary calendar feed and behaves like every other one.
Sprocket supports both Apple's iCal and Google Calendar, and once you've copied the link off your team's schedule it works like any other subscribed feed:
On Google Calendar (desktop or web). Go to Settings → Add calendar → From URL, paste the Sprocket link you copied above, then click Add calendar.
On iPhone (Apple Calendar). Go to Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar, and paste the same link. (On older iOS versions, Calendar appears directly in Settings.)
That gets every practice, game and club event onto your calendar. What it won't do is tell you when one moves. Sprocket's own guidance is that a subscribed calendar can take up to 24 hours to show added or updated events — and when the change finally arrives, Google and Apple overwrite the old time without a notification. Paste the link into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook and it works — assuming you can find it — Sprocket documents this only inside your club's logged-in help center, and every club's site looks different, so there's no screenshot that matches everyone. And the feed only ever covers this club: a second kid at a different club, or on a different app entirely, means a second calendar.
I've never heard of Sprocket — I just use my club's website
That's the normal experience, and it's the main reason this is hard to search for. Sprocket is white-labeled club software: your club's site, your club's branding, Sprocket underneath. Nobody tells parents the name, so you search the club's name and find nothing about calendars. Once you know to look for Sprocket, the feature is there.
I searched for Sprocket's help docs and came up empty
You will. Sprocket's documentation isn't published on the open web the way TeamSnap's or SportsEngine's is — it lives inside each club's site behind that club's login, so search engines never see it and neither do you until you sign in. Log in to your club's dashboard first, then look for its help center or member video library.
I found a way to add it to Outlook but I want the raw link
Take the Copy to Clipboard option instead of the Outlook shortcut. The Outlook route sends the calendar to one specific app; the clipboard copy hands you the feed address itself, which you can then paste into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Schedule Caddie.
The coach changed a game time but my calendar still shows the old one
Expected, unfortunately. Sprocket's guidance is that a subscribed calendar can take up to 24 hours to reflect added or updated events, and it points you at your own calendar app to find out how often it refreshes. Sprocket updates its side quickly — it's the copy sitting in Google or Apple that lags.
My club's Sprocket site looks nothing like the screenshots I found
Because every Sprocket club styles its own site, layouts and menu wording genuinely differ between clubs. Ignore the visual details in any guide, including this one, and look for the concept: a schedule page, and a calendar or subscribe control attached to it.

Partly, inside Sprocket. If both kids play for the same Sprocket club, the family sees a consolidated calendar there, and if you belong to more than one Sprocket club you can switch between them. What it can't do is switch between platforms: the sibling on TeamSnap or GameChanger stays invisible to Sprocket, and switching clubs isn't the same as seeing both at once. Schedule Caddie takes the Sprocket feed alongside every other app's link and merges them into one color-coded calendar.
