Team apps all hand you a calendar feed eventually — TeamSnap, GameChanger, SportsEngine, the rest of them. Schools mostly don't. What you get is a one-page PDF for the whole year, or a photo of the version that came home in a backpack, and there's nothing to paste anywhere.
So the fridge stays the source of truth. Which is fine until the no-school Monday collides with a 4pm practice you'd have moved if you'd seen it coming, or the early release lands on the one afternoon nobody can leave work early.
Typing forty-odd days into your calendar by hand solves it. Nobody does that. This is the shortcut.
