First, the confusion that sends half of year-round swim parents in circles: TeamUnify, GoMotion, and SportsEngine Motion are the same product family. The old TeamUnify support site now redirects to GoMotion's. Your club may use any of those names in its emails — the calendar works the same way.
What you want is the subscription hiding in Team Events: one address that keeps your calendar current all season. Here's the path club instruction pages describe, why it needs a computer, and the honest fine print about refresh lag.
Start on a computer, signed in to your club website. Club-written instructions are consistent on this point: the calendar subscription is something you set up from the club's website on a computer, not from the phone app. Sign in with the account you use for entries and billing.
Open the Team Events area. Look for the Team Events tab — that's the club calendar: practices, meets, banquets, everything the club schedules. Naming and placement vary from club to club since every club skins its own site, so the option may sit somewhere slightly different than a neighboring team's site.
Choose Subscribe and copy the calendar address. Inside Team Events there's a Subscribe option that produces a calendar address. Copy that address rather than letting it hand itself to one app — a copied link can go anywhere, including a shared family calendar.
Add it by URL in whatever calendar you use. In Google Calendar that's "Other calendars → From URL"; in Apple Calendar it's "File → New Calendar Subscription". Either way you are subscribing to a live feed, so new meets and time changes arrive on their own instead of needing a re-import.
Or paste it into Schedule Caddie. Paste the same address into Schedule Caddie and the club schedule joins your merged family calendar — re-checked hourly, with an email that names exactly what changed when a meet session moves. If you have a second swimmer at a different club, or a sibling on a soccer app, they all land on one color-coded calendar.
Paste the link into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook and it works — and if swim is the only thing on your calendar, stop here. Year-round clubs rarely are the only thing: practice groups, meet weekends, and a sibling's season on a completely different app each end up in their own calendar, and none of them tell you when two of them land on the same Saturday morning.
I'm in the app and there's no Subscribe anywhere
That matches what club guides describe: the subscription is set up from the club website on a computer, not from the phone app. Get the address on a laptop, then email or text it to yourself if you want it on your phone.
My club's site doesn't have a Team Events tab
Every club customizes its own site, so the calendar area can be renamed or moved — look for whatever your club calls its schedule or events page, and check for a subscribe or calendar-feed control there. If you genuinely can't find one, your club's office or team manager can point at it faster than guessing; they set the site up.
I subscribed but a changed practice still shows the old time
Club pages warn about exactly this: a subscribed calendar can take up to about 12 hours to show changes in Google or Apple Calendar, because those apps refresh feeds on their own slow cycle. The feed is right; the copy on your phone is stale. Schedule Caddie checks the same feed hourly and emails you what moved.
The feed shows the whole club, not just my swimmer’s group
Club calendars are often published as one stream covering every training group. You can subscribe anyway and ignore the rest, or ask the club whether group-specific calendars exist. In Schedule Caddie the events come in labeled, so you can see at a glance which ones are actually yours.
Because they're the same product family, renamed over time. The old support.teamunify.com address now redirects to support.gomotionapp.com, which is the clearest proof you'll get that you're not dealing with three different systems. If your club's emails say one name and the app store says another, you're still in the right place.
Club-written guides say no — set the subscription up from the club website on a computer. Once you have the address copied, you can use it on any device.
It's the same schedule, in two forms. The web page is a picture of the calendar; the subscription is a live feed your calendar app reads on its own. Subscribing is what stops you from checking the website every week.
A club feed is tied to the club's site, so the cleanest route is to put it in Schedule Caddie and send a share page — one link, every kid's schedule, no account or app on their end. That also avoids handing out anything tied to your club login.
