Byga is club software before it's a parent app — soccer clubs mostly, though it runs plenty of other sports. Your club picked it for registration, rosters and payments, and the family-facing calendar came along with it. That's why the calendar tools sit where a club administrator would look for them rather than where a parent would.
The good news: Byga does publish a real subscription link, so you are not stuck screenshotting a schedule. It lives behind a button labelled Subscribe/Export, and the fastest path to it is the web dashboard rather than the phone app.
You can grab a link for My Calendar — everything you can see at that club — or narrow it to a single team first. If you've got two kids in the same club, the per-team route is usually the one you want.
Log in to Byga on the web, not the app. The mobile app can push events straight into your phone's calendar, but the copyable subscription link is easiest to grab from the web dashboard. Log in to your club's Byga site on a computer.
Open My Calendar from the dashboard. On your dashboard, look under quick access and click My Calendar. This is the combined view of everything you have visibility into across the club.
For one team only, open that team first. My Calendar covers all of your players and teams at that club. If you'd rather have a single team on its own feed — useful when you want each kid color-coded separately — select the specific team first, then carry on with the same steps.
Click Subscribe/Export in the top right. It's a single button labelled Subscribe/Export, sitting above the calendar. It's not under a settings gear, and it isn't called "share" or "iCal."
Choose Copy Subscription Link. Byga offers to open and subscribe directly for you, but that hands the calendar to whatever app your computer defaults to. Choose Copy Subscription Link instead — that puts the actual URL on your clipboard, which is what you want.
Paste the link into Schedule Caddie. Once it's in, this Byga calendar refreshes automatically next to every other team app your family runs on.
Yes — once you've copied the subscription link above, it works like any other subscribed calendar feed:
On Google Calendar (desktop or web). Go to Settings → Add calendar → From URL, paste the Byga link you copied above, then click Add calendar.
On iPhone (Apple Calendar). Go to Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar, and paste the same link. (On older iOS versions, Calendar appears directly in Settings.)
That link will show you every event Byga publishes. What it won't do is tell you when one moves. Byga's own support puts Google's refresh at 12 to 24 hours, and neither Google nor Apple sends a notification when a game shifts — the entry just quietly changes. Paste the link into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook and it works — the catch is scope. I'm on my phone and can't find Subscribe/Export
The mobile app puts calendar options behind the cloud icon at the top right of the calendar tab. Sync to device calendar writes events into your phone; the app can also generate a subscription link to use elsewhere. If you want the URL itself, the web dashboard's Subscribe/Export button is the more direct route.
My Byga calendar stopped updating in Google Calendar
Google refreshes subscribed feeds on its own schedule — Byga's own support puts it at 12 to 24 hours, and there's no way to speed that up from Google's side. Also check that syncing is switched on for that calendar under Google's Shared Calendars sync settings; new subscriptions sometimes arrive with it off.
I subscribed on the Google Calendar mobile app and nothing happened
Adding a calendar by URL only works in Google Calendar on the web. Add it there once on a computer and it will then show up on your phone's Google Calendar app.
Events show up but times look wrong
Check the time zone on the calendar you subscribed with rather than in Byga. A subscribed feed carries its own times, and a mismatched calendar time zone is the usual reason a 9am game reads as 6am.
Yes. Byga generates a real subscription URL for a calendar, available through the Subscribe/Export button on the web and from the cloud icon in the mobile app. That URL behaves like any standard iCal feed, so it works in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or Schedule Caddie.
Subscribing gives you a live link — the calendar keeps updating as the club changes the schedule. Exporting hands you a one-time snapshot. For anything you plan to rely on all season, take the subscription link.
Yes. My Calendar gives you everything you have access to at that club in a single feed. If you'd rather keep teams separate, select the individual team first and then use Subscribe/Export from there — you'll get a link scoped to that team.
