How to Sync Your MOJO Schedule to a Calendar

MOJO is a coaching app first — auto-generated practice plans, drill videos, FanZone game streams — and a scheduling app second. So the option that pushes your team's games into your own calendar isn't a labeled menu item you can search for. It's a single icon on the Schedule tab, and it takes one tap once you know which one.

The trap is that there are two calendar icons on that screen. The + calendar icon next to EVENTS creates a new event, which is the coach's side of the app. The plain blue calendar icon is the one that syncs — MOJO's own help article is a single sentence, so nobody warns you about the difference.

One bit of context worth knowing: TeamSnap acquired MOJO in December 2023. The apps still run separately with separate schedules, so if you've found TeamSnap instructions telling you to log in on a website and open Schedule → Settings, those don't apply here — unless your club has actually moved your team over to TeamSnap.

Get your MOJO calendar link

  1. 1

Open the MOJO app and go to your team's Schedule tab. This is a phone-app flow — MOJO's instructions describe the app, not a website. If you're in more than one MOJO team, make sure you're looking at the schedule for the team you actually want.

  2. 2

Tap the blue calendar icon. MOJO's support article is one sentence long: on the Schedule tab, select the blue calendar icon. That's the sync entry point.

  3. 3

Don't confuse it with the + calendar icon. The same Schedule tab has a + calendar icon next to EVENTS — that one creates a new event and is meant for coaches. If you land on an event form, you tapped the wrong icon.

  4. 4

Follow the prompt, and copy the URL if you're offered one. MOJO's own documentation stops at the icon, so what happens next depends on your phone and which calendar apps you have. For Schedule Caddie you want the subscription link itself — something starting with webcal:// or https://, often ending in .ics — rather than a hand-off straight into Apple or Google Calendar.

  5. 5

Paste the URL into Schedule Caddie. Once it's in, this team's games and practices sit alongside every other team you've added, and we re-check the feed for you daily.

How to sync MOJO to Google Calendar

Once you have the link from the Schedule tab, it behaves like any other subscribable calendar feed:

  1. 1

On Google Calendar (desktop or web). Go to Settings → Add calendar → From URL, paste the MOJO link you copied above, then click Add calendar.

  2. 2

On iPhone (Apple Calendar). Go to Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar, and paste the same link. (On older iOS versions, Calendar appears directly in Settings.)

That link will show you every event MOJO publishes. What it won't do is tell you when one moves. Google and Apple only check subscribed feeds every so often — sometimes a full day passes before a schedule change shows up — and neither sends a notification when it does. Schedule Caddie watches the same MOJO feed every day and emails you the moment something changes, so you find out from us instead of finding out at the field.

What you can do with that link

Subscribe directly

Paste the link into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook and it works — MOJO's instructions stop at the icon, so what you get next depends on your phone — and it's one team, one app, no desktop path. If your other kid's team runs on GameChanger or TeamSnap, you're repeating this dance in another app and checking another calendar.

Paste into Schedule Caddie

  • MOJO plus every other kid's team app, merged into one calendar
  • Color-coded by kid or team so you can tell at a glance
  • Email alerts the moment a game or practice changes
  • A weekly digest so nothing slips through

If something's not working

I don't see a blue calendar icon on the Schedule tab

Check that you're on a team's Schedule tab in the app rather than the Home tab's Up Next strip. If it's still missing, your coach may not be running the schedule through MOJO at all — plenty of teams use MOJO for practice plans and highlights while the real schedule lives on a league site.

Tapping a calendar icon opened a "create event" form

That was the + calendar icon next to EVENTS, which adds an event and generally requires coach or manager permissions. Back out and look for the plain blue calendar icon on the same screen.

The sync only offers Apple or Google, never a link

Subscribe through your phone first, then retrieve the URL: on iPhone, Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Subscribed Calendars shows the feed's server address, which you can copy into Schedule Caddie. If that's a dead end, your team manager can usually send you the sync link directly.

Frequently asked questions

Is MOJO the same thing as TeamSnap now?

TeamSnap acquired MOJO in December 2023, but they're still separate apps with separate schedules. If your team's events live in MOJO, use the steps above — TeamSnap's calendar link is web-only and lives under Schedule → Settings, which is a different flow entirely.

Why is the calendar option so hard to find in MOJO?

MOJO was built around coaching content — auto-generated practice plans, drill videos, FanZone streaming — so scheduling is a supporting feature rather than the main event. The sync is a single unlabeled icon, which is why most parents scroll right past it.

Does this work the same on Android and iPhone?

The starting point is identical: the Schedule tab, blue calendar icon. What your phone shows after that differs, because MOJO hands the feed off to whatever calendar app you have installed. MOJO's documentation doesn't distinguish between the two.

Can I combine my MOJO schedule with my other kid's teams?

Not inside MOJO — it only knows about MOJO teams. That's exactly what Schedule Caddie is for: paste the MOJO link and your other kid's TeamSnap or GameChanger link in, and both land on one color-coded family calendar.

How do I sync MOJO to Google Calendar?

Copy the sync link from the Schedule tab (steps above), then in Google Calendar go to Settings → Add calendar → From URL and paste it in. On an iPhone, go to Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar and paste the same link (on older iOS versions, Calendar appears directly in Settings).

Will I know if a MOJO game time changes after I subscribe?

Not when it happens. MOJO updates the feed, but Google and Apple only re-read subscribed feeds every so often — sometimes 12 to 24 hours — and neither sends a notification when a game moves. Schedule Caddie re-checks the same MOJO feed every day and emails you what changed.
