How to Track a Perfect Game Schedule on Your Calendar

Travel baseball families plan around tournaments months out and then find out the actual game times a few days before, if that. Pool play Friday night, two more Saturday, bracket Sunday if you advance — and all of it lives on an event page you keep reopening.

The honest starting point: as of September 2026 we could not find a parent calendar subscription from Perfect Game. The schedule is published to be read, not subscribed to. So here is the workaround that actually works — capture it once, upload it, and let the weekend live on the same calendar as school, siblings, and everything else.

⏱ Takes about 5 minutes

From the event page to the family calendar

  1. 1

Set expectations first: there is no feed to find. Perfect Game publishes event schedules on its website and in its app, and for following a tournament in progress that works. What we could not find, as of September 2026, is a parent-facing calendar subscription — no iCal URL to paste into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or anything else. Knowing that up front saves you an hour of hunting through menus for a link that is not there.

  2. 2

Save the schedule the moment it is published. Open your event and capture your team's games: screenshot on a phone, or save the page as a PDF from a computer, which reads better. Make sure the date, time, field, and opponent are all in what you capture. If the tournament director emailed a schedule as an attachment, use that file — an original document beats a screenshot every time.

  3. 3

Upload it to Schedule Caddie (free). Sign up and upload the file. The reader goes through it and pulls out every dated game it can find, with times where the schedule shows them. PDF, PNG, and JPG, up to 10MB.

  4. 4

Review the list before anything saves. Extracted games come back as a checkable list, one row per date. Event schedules include a lot of teams, so uncheck what is not yours, fix a field, adjust a time. Nothing lands on your calendar until you approve it.

  5. 5

The weekend joins everything else the family is doing. Games sit color-coded next to school, your other kid's practices, and anything you brought in from a team app, with conflicts flagged across the lot. When a revised schedule goes out, upload it and you get a clear comparison of what changed before approving.

Two sources, two different jobs

Travel baseball usually runs on two schedules at once. There is the team schedule — practices, local games, team events — which almost always lives in GameChanger, TeamSnap, or SportsEngine and does have a real calendar link behind it. And there is the tournament schedule, which comes from the event host and does not.

Use the right tool for each. Paste the team app link once and it keeps itself current, with an email when a practice moves. Upload the tournament schedules as they come out. Both end up on one calendar, which is the only view that answers the question you actually have on a Tuesday night: is anyone free this weekend.

If something is not working

Pool play was posted, but bracket games depend on how we finish

That is the structural problem with tournament baseball: half the weekend is unknowable until Saturday evening. Import pool play with real times, and block the bracket days as day-long holds. Then upload the bracket schedule once it exists. The calendar should represent what you know now, not stay empty until everything is certain.

Games are running long and everything behind them has slipped

No calendar can fix a tournament running two hours behind — and we are not going to pretend ours can. What it can do is make sure the rest of the day was never double-booked in the first place, and give the grandparents driving in a link they can check themselves instead of texting you between innings.

The schedule screenshot came out too small to read

Phone screenshots of wide tournament grids compress badly. Open the event on a computer and save or print the page as a PDF, or capture it in two overlapping halves and upload them one at a time.

Our team keeps its own schedule somewhere else

Most travel baseball teams run day-to-day scheduling through GameChanger, TeamSnap, or SportsEngine, and all three publish real calendar links. Paste the link for the team schedule — it stays current on its own and you get change emails — and keep uploads for the Perfect Game weekends that have no feed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I subscribe to a Perfect Game schedule in Google Calendar?

Not through a Perfect Game feed, as far as we could find in September 2026. Schedules are published on the site and in the app to be read rather than subscribed to. The practical route is capturing the schedule and importing it, which is what this guide covers.

Will I be emailed when a game time moves?

Only for schedules that come from a live link. Those get re-checked automatically and you get an email naming what changed. An uploaded screenshot is a snapshot and cannot know the tournament revised it — what you get there is the comparison when you upload the new version. With no Perfect Game feed to watch, that is the honest limit, and it is why the team app link matters if your team has one.

Is it worth importing a schedule that is going to change anyway?

Yes, for a reason that has nothing to do with precision. The value is that everyone else in the family can see the weekend is gone. A schedule living in one parent's app is invisible to the parent handling the other kid, to the grandparents who want to come watch, and to whoever is arranging the carpool.

Can I share just the tournament with family coming to watch?

Yes. Any schedule can become a share page — one link, opens in a browser, subscribable on their own phone, no app or account needed, and it shows only that schedule. That is usually all a travelling grandparent actually wants.

How current is this guide?

Researched September 2026. Perfect Game runs a very large number of events and its parent-facing tools evolve. If a calendar subscription now exists, or a step here does not match what you see, tell us — we would rather correct the page than leave it looking evergreen.

Before you screenshot anything, check whether your team app has a link — it almost certainly does: calendar link guides for 22 team apps.
