PlayMetrics schedules can live right inside Google Calendar — games, training, and club events next to everything else, updating on their own. The two things worth knowing before you start: PlayMetrics only hands out links through the Sync Calendar button on its Calendar page, and the subscription is per player even though the PlayMetrics view merges your kids. Google, meanwhile, only accepts a calendar URL on its website.
This guide walks the exact path on both sides, plus the honest fine print about how quickly Google actually picks up schedule changes afterward.
Sign in to PlayMetrics and open Calendar. Sign in with your Player Contact account — the parent-side login your club set up. On a computer, Calendar sits in the left-hand menu; on a phone, tap the menu icon first. Either way you land on a consolidated calendar showing every player attached to your account.
Select Sync Calendar. The Sync Calendar button lives on that Calendar page. It's the one place PlayMetrics hands out subscription links — there's no separate export option buried in account settings.
Choose which player you're subscribing to. Even though the Calendar view merges all your kids, the subscription itself is per player. Pick one now; if you have two players in the club, you'll run this again for the second.
Choose Full Calendar or Games Only, then copy the hyperlink. Full Calendar includes practices and club events as well as games; Games Only strips it down to match days. PlayMetrics will either walk you into your calendar app or show you a copyable hyperlink — take the hyperlink, since that URL is what Google Calendar needs.
Open Google Calendar in a browser — the phone app can't do this part. On a computer, go to calendar.google.com. On a phone, the Google Calendar app has no way to add a calendar from a URL — open calendar.google.com in your phone's browser instead (and use your browser's Request Desktop Site option if the mobile page hides the settings).
Add calendar → From URL → paste → Add. In the left sidebar, click the + next to "Other calendars" and choose From URL. Paste the PlayMetrics link and click Add calendar. If Google rejects a webcal:// link, change webcal:// to https:// and try again.
Check it on your phone. Events show up on the web within a minute. In the Google Calendar phone app, open Settings, find the new calendar under your account, and make sure Sync is turned on so it appears on your phone too.
Subscribing puts the schedule in Google Calendar, but Google refreshes subscribed feeds on its own cycle — typically every 12 to 24 hours — and it never notifies you when an event changes. A training session that moved this morning can still show the old time at pickup. The squeeze comes at two kids on three teams: every team is another link, another subscription, another calendar color to manage by hand — and none of them warn you when two games land at the same hour.

Expected — the Calendar page merges your players, but Sync Calendar issues one link per player. Go back and repeat the sync for each child, adding each URL to Google Calendar separately — or paste each link into Schedule Caddie and let it merge them for you.
I don't see Calendar in the menu
On a phone it's behind the menu icon rather than a visible sidebar. If it's still missing, check which role you're signed in as — PlayMetrics accounts can hold several roles (coach, club admin, Player Contact), and you may need to switch to your Player Contact role first.
There's no "From URL" option in my Google Calendar app
There isn't one — the phone app genuinely can't add subscribed calendars. This step has to happen at calendar.google.com in a browser. Once it's added there, the calendar syncs to the app on its own.
