There's no Spond URL to paste into Outlook's Subscribe-from-web — Spond only writes directly into a calendar on your phone. The workable route: add your Outlook account to your phone's calendar system, then make one of its calendars Spond's target. It works; it just has more moving parts than the other team apps.
Know Spond's model — it writes INTO a calendar, no link to copy. Spond doesn't publish an iCal/webcal URL and has no export API. Instead, the app writes events directly into a calendar on your phone and keeps them updated (including removing cancelled sessions). So the job is choosing WHICH calendar it writes into.
Tap your profile picture → Calendar settings. Everything calendar-related lives under your own profile, not inside a group. From there, grant calendar access when prompted — Apple requires FULL access (not read-only) because Spond edits and removes entries when things change.
Add your Outlook account to the phone's calendars first. iPhone: Settings → Apps → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Outlook.com (or Microsoft 365), with Calendars on. Android: most devices sync Outlook calendars once the Outlook app is signed in, or add the account under Settings → Accounts with calendar sync enabled.
In Spond's Calendar settings, choose the Outlook calendar as the target. Pick the calendar listed under your Outlook/Microsoft account. Spond writes sessions there; Outlook syncs them everywhere that account signs in — outlook.com, desktop, phones.
Spot-check on outlook.com. Confirm this week's sessions appear on outlook.com (not just the phone). If they're only on the phone, the target was a local calendar — re-pick it.
Spond's calendar picker doesn't list my Outlook calendar
The phone's calendar system has to know the account first — recheck the account setup with Calendars enabled, then reopen Spond. Work/school Microsoft accounts can also block third-party calendar writes by policy; a personal outlook.com account usually works.
Events reached the phone's Outlook app but not outlook.com
Same root cause as above: the target was a device-local calendar. Only calendars that live ON the Microsoft account round-trip to the web.
Nothing tells me when a session changes
Silent updating is the design everywhere in this pipeline. For the feeds in your family that DO have URLs, Schedule Caddie subscribes, diffs, and emails you exactly what changed — free — and Outlook can subscribe to our merged feed directly.
Not today — Spond documents the direct-write model only, with no public iCal feed. If that changes, tell us and we'll update every Spond page the same day.
That's where Schedule Caddie fits: paste every link-bearing feed (TeamSnap, GameChanger, the league site) and upload the school PDF into one free merged calendar with change-alert emails — then let Spond keep writing its events alongside. One system, every kid.
From Spond's documented calendar-sync flow as of September 2026, cross-checked against the in-app path. Apps move buttons — if yours looks different, tell us and we'll fix it.
Every kid, every schedule, every app — merged, color-coded, and watched for changes.
