TeamSideline schedules can live right inside Google Calendar — games and practices next to everything else, updating on their own. The two places people get stuck: TeamSideline's subscribe control on the web isn't a button at all (it's an information icon shaped like an exclamation point), and Google Calendar only accepts a calendar URL on its website, never in the phone app.
This guide walks the exact path on both sides — Organization Site or Team Site, web or app — plus the honest fine print about how quickly Google actually picks up schedule changes afterward.
Open the calendar you actually want. TeamSideline runs two kinds of sites, and both have their own calendar. Your league's Organization Site is the public one you reach from a web address the league sent out. Your Team Site is the one you log into at go.teamsideline.com. Pick whichever one carries the schedule you care about — the copy step is the same for both.
Go to the Calendar tab. On the web, that's the Calendar page of the site you just opened. In the TeamSideline app, tap Calendar along the bottom.
Click Subscribe to this Calendar. This is the step people miss. On the web it isn't a button — TeamSideline's own help article describes it as an information icon that looks like an exclamation point. In the app, tap the circle icon with dots in the top right corner first, then tap Subscribe.
Copy the iCal URL. A calendar address appears. Copy the whole thing. If you are on a division game schedule page rather than a calendar page, you will see a Subscribe button instead, and it gives you a separate URL per team — copy the one for your kid.
Open Google Calendar in a browser — the phone app can't do this part. On a computer, go to calendar.google.com. On a phone, the Google Calendar app has no way to add a calendar from a URL — open calendar.google.com in your phone's browser instead (and use your browser's Request Desktop Site option if the mobile page hides the settings).
Add calendar → From URL → paste → Add. In the left sidebar, click the + next to "Other calendars" and choose From URL. Paste the TeamSideline link and click Add calendar. If Google rejects a webcal:// link, change webcal:// to https:// and try again.
Check it on your phone. Events show up on the web within a minute. In the Google Calendar phone app, open Settings, find the new calendar under your account, and make sure Sync is turned on so it appears on your phone too.

I'm on the Calendar page and there's no Subscribe button
Look for a small information icon shaped like an exclamation point rather than a button with the word Subscribe on it — that icon is the subscribe control on calendar pages. Division game schedule pages are the exception: those really do have a Subscribe button.
Subscribe does nothing useful on my Android phone
That's expected. TeamSideline says the app's subscribe-to-calendar handoff currently works on iPhone only, and that Android users have to subscribe through Google Calendar's web interface instead — which is exactly the From URL path in this guide. Copy the URL out of the app and paste it at calendar.google.com.

Yes, with one caveat. You can copy the iCal URL from the TeamSideline app (Calendar tab → circle icon with dots → Subscribe) or from the site in your phone's browser. The paste, though, has to happen at calendar.google.com in the browser — the Google Calendar app can't add URLs, and TeamSideline's in-app calendar handoff only completes on iPhone anyway.
A From-URL subscription only lives in the Google account that added it. Simplest options: have them subscribe with the same iCal URL in their own Google Calendar, or put the schedule in Schedule Caddie and send them a share link that works in any browser with no setup.
At calendar.google.com, hover over the calendar in the left sidebar, click the X (or open its settings and choose Unsubscribe). You can re-add it with the same link anytime.
