TeamSideline is league software before it's a parent app — rec departments and youth leagues use it to run registration, schedule fields, and publish the season. That's why the site you land on usually belongs to your league rather than your team, and why the calendar link isn't where you'd expect.
The good news is that a real subscribable iCal address exists, on both the public organization site and the team site you log into at go.teamsideline.com. The catch is what it's called: on calendar pages you're looking for Subscribe to this Calendar, which TeamSideline describes as an information icon shaped like an exclamation point — not a button that says Subscribe.
Below is the web path, the app path, and the separate route for grabbing just your kid's team out of a division game schedule.
Open the calendar you actually want. TeamSideline runs two kinds of sites, and both have their own calendar. Your league's Organization Site is the public one you reach from a web address the league sent out. Your Team Site is the one you log into at go.teamsideline.com. Pick whichever one carries the schedule you care about — the copy step is the same for both.
Go to the Calendar tab. On the web, that's the Calendar page of the site you just opened. In the TeamSideline app, tap Calendar along the bottom.
Click Subscribe to this Calendar. This is the step people miss. On the web it isn't a button — TeamSideline's own help article describes it as an information icon that looks like an exclamation point. In the app, tap the circle icon with dots in the top right corner first, then tap Subscribe.
Copy the iCal URL. A calendar address appears. Copy the whole thing. If you are on a division game schedule page rather than a calendar page, you will see a Subscribe button instead, and it gives you a separate URL per team — copy the one for your kid.
Paste the URL into Schedule Caddie. That's the whole handoff. From there this schedule refreshes on its own, next to every other team you've added.
Once you've copied that iCal URL, it behaves like any other subscribable calendar feed — and this is the route Android users have to take, since TeamSideline's in-app subscribe handoff only works on iPhone:
On Google Calendar (desktop or web). Go to Settings → Add calendar → From URL, paste the TeamSideline link you copied above, then click Add calendar.
On iPhone (Apple Calendar). Go to Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar, and paste the same link. (On older iOS versions, Calendar appears directly in Settings.)
That gets every game TeamSideline publishes onto your calendar. What it won't do is tell you when one moves — and league schedules move, because fields get reassigned and weather shuffles a whole division at once. Google and Apple only re-check subscribed feeds every so often, sometimes a full day, and neither sends a notification when something changes. Schedule Caddie watches the same TeamSideline feed every day and emails you the moment something changes, so you find out from us instead of finding out at the field.
Paste the link into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook and it works — with two rough edges. The in-app subscribe only completes on iPhone, so Android parents have to detour through Google Calendar on a computer. And because league calendars, team calendars, and division schedules are each their own feed, following two kids through one league can mean two or three separate subscriptions sitting in one undifferentiated calendar.
I'm on the Calendar page and there's no Subscribe button
Look for a small information icon shaped like an exclamation point rather than a button with the word Subscribe on it — that icon is the subscribe control on calendar pages. Division game schedule pages are the exception: those really do have a Subscribe button.
Subscribe does nothing useful on my Android phone
That's expected. TeamSideline says the app's subscribe-to-calendar handoff currently works on iPhone only, and that Android users have to subscribe through Google Calendar's web interface instead. Copy the URL out of the app anyway — you can paste it into Google Calendar on a computer, or into Schedule Caddie from any device.
Every game shows up at the wrong time
TeamSideline renders your Team Site calendar in whatever time zone your account is set to. Log in at go.teamsideline.com, click your name at the top right, change Time Zone on the My Account page, and click Save.
"An identical Subscribed Calendar account already exists"
Your iPhone already holds a subscription to that same TeamSideline calendar from a previous season. Remove the old one under Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Subscribed Calendars, then subscribe again — or skip the phone entirely and paste the link into Schedule Caddie.
The company writes it as one word, TeamSideline. Leagues and parents split it into two constantly, and search engines treat them as the same thing. Either spelling, same platform and same steps.
The Organization Site is your league's public site — its calendar tends to carry league-wide events and division schedules. The Team Site is the one you log into at go.teamsideline.com, and its calendar is your team's own. Both offer a subscribe link, so if the league calendar is noisier than you want, subscribe to the team one instead.
Yes. On a division game schedule page, click Subscribe and TeamSideline offers a URL per team — copy the one for your kid rather than the division-wide address. If you want both, they are separate subscriptions.
Not inside TeamSideline — a league platform only knows about its own leagues. That is exactly what Schedule Caddie does: paste the TeamSideline link and your other apps’ links in, and every kid lands on one color-coded calendar.
Copy the iCal URL using the steps above, then in Google Calendar go to Settings → Add calendar → From URL and paste it in. TeamSideline also documents the older path of clicking the + next to Other calendars and choosing Add by URL — same result. On an iPhone, go to Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar and paste the same link.
Not from your calendar app. Google and Apple re-check subscribed feeds on their own lazy schedule — often 12 to 24 hours — and neither one tells you what moved when they finally do. The game quietly shifts and nothing pings. Schedule Caddie reads the same TeamSideline feed every day and emails you the specific change, so a rescheduled Saturday game reaches you on Thursday instead of in the parking lot.
Every kid, every team, every app — merged, color-coded, and watched for changes.
